With changing time, the importance and meaning of the Rakshabandhan also changed. In today’s world, it’s no more about sister asking Raksha. It’s about compassion two people share, it’s about the expression of love, it’s about realizing that in this fast moving world there is someone to stand by us.
With every passing year, we grow not just by age but by experiences and maturity level. The roots of our thoughts grow deeper with the failures. Branches of our life grows in particular direction due to trial and error methods. Whatever worked in our fever we grow in that direction. And in old age we develop our own environment, that give shadow to people wondering in life cluelessly so that they can avoid the mistakes we did in our life and delayed or detained our success. The young one’s who use this shadow are considered to grow bigger and wider.
